deal with my mail when I get it

i’ve been amazing at this the last four weeks. it’s probably basic for a lot of people, but it’s been a consistent challenge for me my whole adult life. administration has never been a strength of mine. but i think a little intention + action can catch me up with the rest of responsible society.

i’m calling this done because it has been a month, but it’s conditional upon me staying on top of my mail for always. as soon as the pile starts, it’s going right back on the list. but i think i am ready to face the world of bills, creditors, catalogues, notices, and all that. i’ve realized that they’re not that scary, and it’s not that hard.

i have been notoriously bad at this all of my life, but i’ve been good about it recently, which gives me hope. i can mark this done when i have zero mail in my mail pile for a full month. i’ll count today as day one.
