increase my blog traffic

we keep breaking 100 hits for the week and almost hit 300 a couple of weeks ago.

our friends have been making enough submissions to get me a little behind in posting. although we have not done much to reach beyond our immediate circle, so far we have gotten two submissions from complete strangers. that’s encouraging.

we have the content. we just need to get on the radar of people we don’t already know on fb or twitter. can do. i got some plans. just got to do them when my partner or i have a second.

i guess i underestimated the powers of internet social networking. we hit 100 at day three. still, that was just the opening to our immediate network of friends. it will feel more significant to maintain even that level of traffic at the onset. so, new milestone is to break one hundred two consecutive weeks and beyond that maybe get to three hundred in one week. let’s see how that goes.

first milestone i think will be 100 views in one week.

i am going to try to do one thing per day to bring in traffic, including posting something, commenting on other blogs, or sending the link to someone or somewhere with an audience.

luckily, my blog-partner is extremely extroverted and rather well-connected, socially-speaking.

i wonder how long it will take to hit the first milestone.
