Well, after a long long time waiting, I’ve finally got my computer sorted out with the right software, and I’ve ordered a decent mic, which will hopefully arrive shortly. I can finally start recording some music! I have a ton of ideas now, and can’t wait to get to work!

Well, it’s been a while since my last entry on this subject. We didn’t get much done in the studio, and now Matt is doing his own thing with his college band, though I’m sure he’s still open to doing music with me as well. Either way, I’ve lately been focusing on writing my own music a lot, particularly on my Guitar Pro program. It’s meant to be for tabbing really, but it’s a very good means to composing as well. Most of what I’ve got is just ideas, but that’s enough for now. Once I’m in a comfortable environment where I can record freely I’ll make an album or two hopefully.
Well next weekend my friend Matt and I should be getting to spend some time in a studio to do some recording. It’s our friend Antony’s house studio and he’s charging about £10 per day, which is a very good deal. We have a few songs and rough ideas to work on. Not sure how long it’ll take to make a full album; we may only make a demo/ep, but whatever we do, it’ll be fun to finally make some proper recorded music.
I’ve already got quite a few small musical ideas that I was originally going to put forward to the band I’m in, but I think some of them are more personal and would be more appropriate for a solo album. How (and where) the hell would I record it? I need a studio. Hmmm…..
