We actually went downtown Saturday. The best way I can describe it is one giant flea market. It was a lot of fun though. You never would know what you’ld find in each little shop. One place had more die cast model cars than I’d ever seen in one place in my life. In one store we saw little figurines of rattlesnakes complete with fangs and forked tongues. So many of the things had no prics on them(just like a flea market) and I have to wonder if they came up with a price after they looked at you and sized you up. We saw a ceramic rooster that was 3.5 ft tall or so. (my kitchen decor features roosters, but I don’t have a place for this bad boy) We saw metermaids on Segways cruising for expired parking meters. The best part of it was just walking down the streets hand in hand with the man I love.
