Memorize Scripture

“As you therefore have recieved Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him, having been firmly rooted and now being built up in Him and established in your faith, just as you were instructed and overflowing with gratitude.”

I successfully recited this assignment for my Bible study, but now I’m getting rusty again…Review, review, review.

Memorizing this one is my homework assignment for my bible study. If we get it right on November 30, we get a present…I just want to get it right regardless. It is a verse that I’ve known but never memorized, it has been a kind of mantra for me for many years:

“Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God which surpasses all comprehension, shall guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”

oops! It was supposed to be Colossians 2: 6-7, but the Philippians verse is also a good one to know. :)
