i went rafting and cave climbing with my family. The trip was awesome and great fun. There were 11 of us on a mini bus. We left home at 6.30 am and got there around 10.30 am.
We went cave climbing first and then went to the waterfall for rafting.
We walked and climbed in the cave for about 2 hours and got soak up with sweat. Though they felt really tired and slipped from climbing, they enjoyed it so much.
After the cave, we had lunch and then got ready for rafting. It was a pity that i could not take my camera with me as it might get wet and sink into the water. It was a long and exciting ride along the river. There were many rough spots that capsized our rafts. After being capsizing by the strong wave, we climbed up into the raft and then went on. It happened like this again and again until we reached the destination. My raft was capsized about two-three times but my sister’s raft was capsized about 6 times and she got blacks and bruises all over her body! .. heeeee!!!
It was really wonderful holiday for all of us..

to Mt. Kinabalu..
I love the weather and the view on the way to Mt. Kinabalu. The air was very refreshing and a bit cold. The sunlight was very strong all the way so we had a good chance to see this gorgeous mountain..

Next morning, we got ready to go to national park (Mt. Kinabalu). At first we thought to catch a bus to get there but while writing my diary and waiting for my friends to get ready, one Malaysian lady came up to me asking if I would like to join her to the national park. We talked and negotiated for the price and we came up with hiring her and her car for 3 days to take us around.
It was economical and convenient as we could go faster and a lot more places than we had expected.

we went out to the islands (couldn’t remember the names) for snorkelling and fed the fish on the way back to town. I got darker and a bit of sunburnt but it was worth it!!
it took about 20 minutes to reach the snorkelling sites and spent all the afternoon there.
It was Thai New Year today..

We arrived Kota Kinabalu on April 12 night and catched a texi from the airport to Lusy’s homestay. I felt like staying home living there, though it was just only 2 nights.
In the morning, we went out for a walk for town sighseeing, went to the fish market and surveyed the town to have something to eat before we went off to the islands nearby for snorkelling..
