She is a friend of Nok, my university friend. Nok met Uka when she went to Japan in 2009. Uka travelled to Thailand during New Year Holiday. After travelling to Phuket together, Nok and Uka came back to Songkhla and Nok broght Uka around sightseeing with another friend named Mod. They asked if I wanted to join them for a dinner on Dec. 30. I jumped to the chance as I was ichy to go out and meet new people.

Uka is very friendly and easy-going. We like to take pictures and share many things in common like enjoying outdoor sports. Her English is excellent and it was so good speaking English with her, as I could brush off my rusty English speaking. I told her about 43things and she was interested. She said she loved to join it too.

He flew from Bangkok with his new girlfriend this afternoon and they are going off to Lipeh island tomorrow for Christmas. He asked if I was free to meet him at the Swan; a restaurant & pub we used to hang out before. I said yes, and drove to meet him there. His girlfriend was in another town meeting her parents.

Getting there, Dave was already chatting with one of his friends, Tony. I joined them and Dave asked if I wanted a beer. I said no. I just fancied a cup of tea. I chatted and had some laughs with them for an hour. Then, another guy joined us. He was a friend of Tony and named Dave too.

Dave and I caught up with our lives, while Tony talked to another Dave. It was good to see him again.

Later, my sis called saying that she and dad were at the shop and asked when I would be back. I sat there a little while, then left..

It was good meeting an old friend and know someone new..

I met him via Dave few months ago. Dave asked me and him to go to take a look for the classic car he wanted to buy, while Dave was in Bkk. That was the first time I met him. The second time was last Sunday when I drove to the airport to meet Dave and saw Martin again. I joined them at the coffee shop in the airport and chatted for a little while before Dave caught the flight to Bkk.

After talking and catching up with Wandee for nearly a year via hi5 and Facebook, I finally met her and her two cute boys yesterday at Black Canyon. Wandee is Greg’s wife who I used to work with 5 years ago. When Greg moved back to Australia, he brought Wandee with him and married her. Wandee knew me via Greg and we started to talk and like each other. She came back to visit her parents in Thailand and she made it happen for us to meet in person. She is really nice and friendly and her boys are super cute. I wish to visit her and her family in Australia too. She said I would love it there.

Watched them play few games. Though, not talked to them in person, it was good to be there and met the new secretary who replaced me after I left the company.
