be a beach bum, have more messy hair days, have more sun-kissed skin, dig my toes in the sand, busy myself doing nothing at the beach, flirt with those blue-eyed tourists, get drunk with my girlfriends..

If I am still in the island, it’s hammock time right now.. I am missing the cheap, laid-back life out there.. I wish we’d stayed longer..

I went there with my 2 girl friends for our year-end trip.. We spent time eating, chatting and simply being together.. And bought 3 new books there..

Last week, I met up with my 2 girlfriends in Phuket for my birthday. 2 days after coming back from India, I left home again. I took a minibus from Hatyai to meet them on the way to Phuket. We stayed at a nice hotel with very cheap price for 2 nights and then one of my friends and I moved to Railey and stayed 2 more nights there. We didn’t plan to go out snorkelling or swimming in the sea. We just walked around taking pictures and looking for a nice place to sit, talk, eat and drink. We wanted to chill out before getting back work, our reality which was waiting for us impatiently..
