Pay off my car

I would like to pay off my car loan. Sadly, this loan and title is in my husband’s name and we are going through a divorce. I HATE that this hangs over me, and that I am building his credit while he is tearing mine down. I like the car, and need the car, but I wish the $450.00 a month was going to my medical insurance and prescription medications, instead of going to pay for a car that he will probably repossess once it is paid off. Yes, I am using the legal system to get this corrected, but for right now, this is what I have to do to keep the car.
