Long ago, in seventh grade, I took a class in leather working and made a nice key holder for my mother. It was relaxing work, and I always wanted to do more with it. I guess I am looking for an inexpensive set of leather working tools, and a pattern. I collect vintage latigo purses. The old ones use real leather lacing and heavy braiding. Much of the best stuff was made by prisoners doing time. Just seems to go along with my love of horses.
