No fear...

Love without fear…Did you know that fear is the opposite of love? Most people think that hate is the opposite of love. Or that courage is the opposite of fear. Closely related, fear and hate. Love and courage are related also. Courage comes from the root coeur, a French word for heart.
Anyway, loving without fear has many examples, like taking in a pet, even tho you know its life will end before your own. Allowing a baby to pat you, even though his hands are messy with spaghetti sauce.
Allowing someone to be a friend, even tho they do not look like someone you would want to befriend. Old? A kid? A tatto on every limb? Fat? Poorly dressed?
Well, loving without fear means showing vulnerability, a very loving thing thing to do for someone who has extended a hand to you.
Romance is only slightly different, in that your discernment must be MORE than superficial, and also ongoing within the relationship. Trust is something that should be granted, based on mutuality. Never give more trust than the other person does.
