do more public speaking about organ donation

is in November. This is the month that is set aside with in the organ donation community to encourage people of faith to become organ donors. It is also a time of prayer for those who have donated, will donate, organ recipients, and those that are waiting for a life saving organ transplant. I am hoping to get to talk a few times this month about organ donation.

I currently have a standing appearance at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta about every 3 months where I talk to parents of children who are waiting for an organ transplant or have received one. These people understand the importance of organ donation.

I want to speak to churches, civic groups, or anyone who might listen about the importance of organ donation and that there are 97,000 people in the US who are waiting on a life-saving organ. It is a long wait, waiting on a miracle. Many aren’t as lucky as me!
