I work at a large architecture firm on Wall Street, and a couple of months ago, our office actually provided all of us with coffee mugs for use at work. Previously we had little disposable coffee cups that were sold with our coffee machine, and the amount of waste it created was ridiculous.
We also switched over to using plastic cups made from corn for cold beverages. I’m not sure who manufactures them, but they’re supposedly much more eco-friendly than the regular plastic ones that we once used.
