I have taken Chantix for the last 3 weeks and I have been smoke free for 18 days. I am really happy with my progress. I am amazed at how well Chantix has worked for me. I have quit smoking a thousand times before, but this made quitting so much easier!
I had minimal side effects, some sleeplessness, some lethargy, some sleepiness, some stomach ache (when I didn’t eat regularly) but that was the worst of it. I never craved a cigarette anymore. Even being around people smoking isn’t even a temptation.
P.S. For any of you thinking about or taking Chantix, just watch your caffeine intake. If I have more than a cup of coffee or a can of pop I feel really jittery – and probably the reason I couldn’t sleep! Best of luck!
