Ok, so I didn’t get much done in the first 24 hours, but I’m plugging away at a web-app I thought up recently and learning so much about Rails in the process. My first Rails apps were hacks compared to this.
I just love the ‘Aha’ feeling I keep getting with Rails… I’ll be deep in the docs, or writing some code, and ‘Aha’ something new comes clear to me. And – well, this is the first framework I’ve used that works in a way that encourages me to try my new ideas and expect them to work right the first time instead of throw up a slew of errors.
Finally, a framework that thinks like me!
