Make new friends in my new city

and I’ve subsequently almost had too much to do! Ha, I’m not complaining. Hopefully I’ll make a few more Brazilian friends as my language skills improve too.

I’m happy to check this off the list.

American couple Jo & Joe, German Christiane and Uruguayan husband Roberto, and now German Claire and Brazilian Carlos! I like my new little UN.

This week I’ll meet a Brazilian study partner and maybe he’ll be a new friend too…

that is teetering on classification as “good friend.” Victoria, a New Zealander, and her boyfriend Bruno had a little soiree at their apartment last night. I had a really nice time.

I must keep looking for ways to find kindred spirits here.
