I have the tools I need to stave off my hunchbacked years, yet I’ve been too lazy to use them. (Tying in with the flurry of related entries this morning.)

Progress: spent a little time re-structuring my work environment, attended 2 bikram classes, stretched more frequently than normal, tried to be ever-more conscious about my posture. Another physical therapist visit.
To do: New exercises to practice. I’m going to buy a foam roll thingy.
I saw a physical therapist yesterday. My posture sucks, and it’s causing some pain. I have some recommended excercises and some follow-ups scheduled but, beyond that, I need to focus on a healthy eating and movement plan. (“Diet” and “exercise” have suffered more abuse from me than the words, or I, care to re-live.) June is Bikram Yoga month. And physical therapy month. Let’s see if I can’t turn this stuff around… act my age… ;)
I think the trouble is that my “core” is made of goiaba jelly.
I know what I need to do. And I know what I actually do.
The challenge is really to do less of what I actually do and more of what I need to do, so that, sooner rather than later, what I need to do becomes what I actually do.
Focus.
