Sold some at the Ann Arbor art fair, and I have a big commission. Hooray!

I really want to sell some paintings

I signed up to do another local show in Sept. and my painting friend and I are also doing a weekend workshop at the beginning of Oct. I’m teaching basics like contour line drawing, proportions in plein air, into to acrylics… should be a good time. We rented a house on Lake Michigan for the event- so it will be a gorgeous setting. and my friend is insisting on keeping prices super low!

well, another show, and again- just sold prints and postcards… bummer

I’m trying to blog about my bleak attempt at learning to sell. So far it’s exciting and depressing at the same time. I got to be in a big show, but all I sold were prints and postcards. I’m thankful for that, but I want so much more!

sold a postcard today! it’s a print of my sunflower painting- it’s a start!

had the first meeting with the other teachers that I will have a booth with this summer! Hopefully I will sell something at this Art Fair. I have never done one before- so I’m really excited!
