I was going to let September slide and not even post anything to it. There was nothing happy or exciting about it for me, just sadness.
Then stopping to reflect, there were new things that happening, more personal things that I have never really dealt with correctly. September has been a month of personal growth and reflection. So how can personal growth not be fulfilling?!!

I can’t believe I haven’t written an entry for this yet. With meeting Serenity in her hometown and meeting the family! They had welcomed me as if I was part of the family. Actually I think it was a cousin finally realized that I really wasn’t a part of the family and in the middle of his conversation stopped to ask, “Who are you??” Which made us all laugh! Then there was the next day where Seren and I met up with Hunnypie and Dright! We went to the local flee market and found some hidden gems. We also found a marvelous winery and able to taste some great wines from Warner Vineyards. I had such a great time and hope we are all able to meet up again!
Then towards the end of the month I started my digital photography class. It opened my eyes to some new artists and trying to find some more that I am inspired by. I am sure there will be more to come with this in the next few months.
I have also been taking advantage of the beautiful weather and finding some places around town that I am able to energize myself when needed. Along with keeping up with my journals and other meet up with my RL friends.
I took a 2-hour trip to a large roadside barn that has a wide range of fresh produce and in the town it has a fabulous butcher that has a great and big selection of different marinated meat. I went with Nancy, we had not been able to connect for quite a few months and NEEDED to reconnect with each other. I was also able to reconnect with a friend that I used to work with at the circus. It had been a few years since we last seen each other. So it was really nice to see her and catch up.
The last two weeks of July were pretty quiet. I did meet a new friend for dinner and had a great conversation.
On Aug 1st, I went to the Toby Keith concert with my girlfriends. I won the tickets. We ended upgrading to seats from lawn seat for $10. One of the girl’s won the chance to go the meet and greet with Toby and we ended up with a 2nd row ticket for her (huge fan of Toby’s).
I have a trip to Michigan coming in a few days, really looking forward to that!
My best friend and her kids came up for the 4th of July weekend. We showed her kids(12 and 13) the places we went when we were their ages. Her and I took them to the beach we would hang out at all summer long. It was fun watching them run into Lake Michigan like it was going to be really warm and promptly retreating. We had a few parties to go to and saw some good fireworks. Even had our cards read…(I think that might be my new thing so far this month)
Today I took another one of my friend’s daughter with me to the local nursery called Northwind Perennial Farm, where your able to walk around and look at their flowers. It reminds me of a small botanical garden.
