I’ve successfully incorporated stair stepping at work on my lunch break, a bit at a time. I’m up to six repetitions for 22 steps, and I’ll keep upping it as it gets too easy. Not as good as in my gym days, but it’s a start.

Have new resolve to exercise every day, even if it’s just for a single minute. Getting into the habit is the important thing-it’s easy to continue once the minute is up. I’ve been doing it for two weeks and so far only missed two days-both when I was sore from exercising the day before.
I’ll gradually up it to 11 minutes a day to get to minimum fitness guidelines from the CDC. Hula hooping is actually vigorous exercise-I’m winded every time I finish, almost.

Urrgh. Ill health is the biggest saboteur of my good intentions.

Still getting to the gym at least once a week, sometimes twice. My workout buddy has informed me that she is going to get more serious about it and block out every Monday, so that will help too.
