Get out more

I’ve been a bit better about this lately. I now have a more or less standing date with a friend on weekends, and last Saturday I went to a swap meet, which was a lot of fun.

This is a hard goal to achieve when one has various sorts of chronic pain.

I have had a guest for the last four days. I took him to meet some of my friends. Tired but feeling happy about that.

Went to a family dinner last night-rowdy! My family is awesome, though I was wiped out at the end of it.

I met with a friend last weekend and went to a party today. I remember now why I stay in so often-crowds exhaust me. Introversion can be kind of a drag that way.

The last two weekends, I went to the museum and the beach, respectively. Great times-museum had a very interesting exhibit and the beach was blessedly cooler than where I currently live. It was so nice to be in a place where it felt like September as I know it.

Had a friend over tonight. Lovely to see him.

This has been a good week for being out-seeing friends three different times and two potlucks. I made tons of cookies which are all gone, and meeting friends later today.

Farmer’s market today. Not for long, as most things I like to buy aren’t in season yet, but it’s a start. I’ve realized it’s easier to not be sitting at the computer if I have somewhere to go TO, so I’m working on that.
