Hello again you’all! I had a strange present for Christmas this year from my best mate. In fact he bought me two presents. The first was a mini remote controlled helecopter, that really works and it’s no bigger than a matchbox car. Then the second was a sea monkey tank, compleate with sea monkeys.
Now here’s the really strange x files part – There are three little sachets in the tank. (One is water purifier, the second is dried sea monkey eggs, and the third is sea monkey food. Which is powdered algae I believe)By the way the tank is just a small fish tank about the size of a half pint glass. You fill the tank up with bottled water and open the first sachet of water purifier and wait for 24 hours. Then the second stage is the sea-monkey dried eggs. You just add them to the water and they hatch right in front of your eyes. (I kid you not) The third sachet is food which you don’t use untill the 5th day, which is tomorrow. Apparently they’re born with full tummies! It’s a bizzare world, the ol sea-monkey world. So 4 days on and they’ve trebbled in size, although they’re still no bigger than a full stop.
They start mating after 3 and a half weeks and give birth 7 days later to a new batch of sea-monkeys. The weird and wonderful world of nature… Apparently they’re a hybrid form of brine shrimp. They are real, but very strange…
Above is a picture of them fistly after a week, then 4 weeks and finally 6. So go out and raise yourself a colony of sea-monkeys today…

I have watched the TV series LOST now since it first began and havent missed a sylibal.It gripped me right from the word go, but as were approaching the end of series two, whats happened to all the questions that have yet to be answered from the first series? With the opening of the hatch at the begining of series two, has everyone but me just forgotton about the 15 foot monster that was attacking everyone as soon as they walked into the jungle? What was all that about?
It killed the piolot of the plane and many of the survivers of the actual crash. Which incidently was caused by the massive electro-magnettic pulse that will errupt if the numbers don’t get pressed. Which was what happened to the plane in the first place. The scottish guy who was in the hatch when they opened it messed up one day and the electro-magnet started magnetising, and pulled the plane out of the sky!
Things will become a little clearer when you watch the final two episodes.
But if anyone has been to america and seen any of the third series, please let me know as I am obsessed…
Who do you think the others are? I thought they might have been alien doctors or something at first, but I’m swaying towards some corporate pharmisutical company or something. Testing something out on the survivors, for what reason yet, I’m not sure. I heard someone mention that they were the only people left on the planet! But that can’t be right can it? Mind you, we only see the past when they show flash-backs don’t we? So who knows?
I haven’t got any answers really, all I know is that it truely is a magical island. Which I’ve heard by the way, that in series three, we get to see some of the islands flash-backs! That should prove splendid viewing…
