My family did this five years ago and we have the most wonderful dog. He’s a lab-chow mix and right from the beginning sensed that we rescued him and done nothing but try to please us. Wherever we are, he wants to be with us. He senses when we’re sick or sad. He smiles. He loves our attention. He’s the best thing that ever happened to us!
