Get the Smithsonian Institution internship

I got an email from the esteemed and wonderful Bill Tabor this saturday, and I GOT THE INTERNSHIP!!!! I did a funny dance and was just generally really happy.

...thinking and worrying about it.

I have put in so much effort… let’s see if it’s rewarded. I’ve also been very tenacious, sending them lots of emails and such.
I got interviewed, which was good.
I was supposed to find out by last friday if I got it, though, and I didn’t, which is NOT so good.

I have this sickly nervous feeling in me.

and I hate it whenever I lose something important to me, I just can’t make myself care. I know if I don’t get this, I’ll just shrug it off. But I don’t like that stupid defense mechanism.
