I found a local charity that provides assistance to people (families) that are affected by terminal cancer. So I’m going to contribute to the cause for the holidays and then I’m going to get in touch with charity directly to see what else I can do (on a regular/permanent basis) to volunteer for the charity.
Nobody should have to decide whether to get chemo or get food/pay for utilities. If I can make a positive change on someone that is already struggling with so much, then there’s nothing else I could ask for this Christmas.
