grow my dwarf banana tree to 1 metre high

poor banana tree didn’t make it through the winter… (it was inside, not due to lack of warmth, but I think lack of light…)

seems to be having a bit of a growth spurt – has grown approx 5 cms since last post

But not sure if this will be completely out of my hands – I have a dwarf banana tree, and it is currently 20cm tall, but seems to be very healthy and keeps pushing new leaves out.

I did find out that apparently they don’t like a lot of sun (who woulda thought for a tropical plant???), since I have moved it into indirect sunlight it is growing well, and the new leaves don’t have any brown spots like the old ones were getting (hence the freckle comment…)

Well I will keep going with this one, and also give it some more coffee grounds, as the last growth spurt seemed to be timed with it’s last caffeine fix…

Not sure of the science here (if any), but I’ll keep trying for some more growth…
