give one new Kiva loan per month for a year

... I have been, just haven’t been updating here so much!

Currently have 9 loans in progress, so well on the way to 12 within a year! hope it to be closer to 20+ by the time July comes around (the month I started this goal)

Is to a woman in Mexico who sells secondhand clothes to help supplement her family’s income. She started this in 2005 after being unable to find stable employment in her area, and it is mentioned that she has a good number of clients that she has built up. She is using the loan to buy some more secondhand clothes to provide variety to her clients.

is to a group of group of 6 women in Mali who sell clothing and cosmetics and who are looking to buy more supplies for their business

is to Kurbongul, who is 60 years old and has a spare parts business in Tajikistan. She is looking to expand her business by buying additional merchandise to sell.

(I decided to do more than one a month, going to try a two week schedule for the next little while at least…)

If I take my lunch to work most days a week, I will not even notice the $25 every 2 weeks, and someone else can put it to much better use!!
