Back in the Red  — 6 months ago

Due to some life events I’ve managed to get back in the red quite a bit. I paid off my Visa card yesterday, and recently paid off my Old Navy card as well. I am working on paying off my Maurice’s card ($265) and my target card ($1,650) and a brand new Goodyear car repair bill that was unavoidable($500).

My plan for March’s payments will be:
1. Maurices: Whatever needed to make the balance owed $200.
2. Target: $150.00
3. Goodyear:$100.00

I also plan on paying off as much of the target bill as possible with my tax returns, but I haven’t been to the accountant yet to see how much to expect back.

Aside from student loans… I have gotten down to only $125.00 worth of debt now! This will be paid off next month when the bill comes and then I am free of credit card debt!!!

Only One Credit Card Left  — 3 years ago

Paid off the another credit card- only one credit card left to pay on!!!! With vacation we had to pay less on this card than we have been paying lately but hopefully we’ll be able to catch back up next month and pay it off by December.

One More Payment  — 3 years ago

I will be able to pay another credit card off next month!!! I paid this months bill and was suprised to discover that after this last payment, we owe less than $50!!

I’ve read about other people who after paying off one debt, roll their same payment amount over to their next lowest debt, and when that debt has been paid off, they roll that payment over, and so on. This method has allowed me to pay off one credit card already, and I’ll be paying off another next month. I can’t even tell you how good this feels.

Credit Card  — 3 years ago

Did a little math today and realized that if I set aside $25.00 each week and put $500 of my bonus towards the credit card, I can have the credit card debt paid off by the end of the year!!!
