I started out on the stationary bike for 30 mins of hills, then immediately jumped on the treadmill and did 2 miles @ 10:00mi pace. Whoobie! My first brick! I finished the day with 20 mins in the pool…was able to do 10 laps (250 yards) in 9:30. Slow & steady!!
Ok…so i found out the pool i’ve been using is 25yards and NOT 50meters. So instead of 6 laps it will be 12. egads! i just have to buckle down and train since i’m already committed!
4/29/07: 300yard swim, 18mi bike, 2mi run. The running will be easiest, since I already do 5k’s and 8k’s and have the right muscle-memory for it. The swim is ok…nothing some training can’t knockdown. The bike is the longest leg and will be the most physically challenging endurance-wise.
