My friend decided to give me his VHS collection of episodes. I spent two hours indexing them, and it seems that very few are missing. I’ve watched “An Unearlthy Child” already, but I haven’t got the 2nd, 3rd or 4th story arcs. I went on to watch #5, and have begun #6. The first Doctor is a little dull to watch, anyhow, as the scenes tend to drag on needlessly.

I’m not a fan of TV in general, but I have discovered a few shows recently that really strike my fancy. I prefer watching a few episodes of something at one sitting, instead of having to be in front of the telly at a prescribed time – I feel like less of a slave to it that way, and it’s more fun. It’s sort of like watching a movie if I watch 2 hours’ worth. Anyhow, Doctor Who has had something like thirty seasons (although I’ve read that over 100 episodes were destroyed and are gone forever), so to watch all of it, I’d have to dedicate myself to an episode per night for several years, I think. I’d still like to try it ;)
