Instead of working less and playing more, I ended up working less and stressing more. Things don’t get done! Silly, why should I be surprised?
Spending less time on school isn’t working out so great, that’s for sure. I may even have to repeat one of my classes next semester.
So what’s my lesson?
If procrastination seems necessary(it’s not!), do something fun instead of just wasting time. It continues a bad mood and nothing gets done.
Just don’t procrastinate. It’s not worth the snowball effect.

I’ve been going out with people from work pretty much every thursday night for drinks. I’m not a big drinker, and the bar isn’t really my scene, but they’ve certainly shown me a good time :) Here’s to keeping it up and socializing, for once. Cheers!

My boss has scheduled me to work every day that I possibly can. Good for money, but not so great for school and having a life…

I only have 1.5 jobs now, have been working on that whole people-time thing, and will be looking at martial arts places this friday! Exciting. It’s almost a life. :)

I stopped by today to get some sushi and try to talk to boss-man, but no one was around. So I ate my sushi, and hopefully the word I stopped by will go through and he’ll call me tonight to talk about my schedule.
I should be able to pick up extra shifts at job1 to make up for any lost cash, and then there’s always job3 to help me float. It will be worth it, I think. If I play my cards right, I’ll have a similar amount of money with an extra day off work a week. Then I’ll have to figure out that whole social life thing…
Seriously though, what am I going to do with an extra day off?

I spend way too much time working. For money, for school, whatever.
I need to set aside time for some socializing, some entertainment, some new experiences and adventures! There are times when I look at my 43T and it’s just… depressing- because there’s nothing fun, it’s all practical. And while I definitely need to keep a lot of the practical, I need more than that to actually be satisfied with what I’m doing.
So. Anyone have suggestions?
Theme parks? Parties? Out-of-town trips? Movies? Hiking? Performances? Games?
I donno. Tell me what you think should come first :)
