finish the entire activity book with Kayli (365 things)

As I go through this book I have no idea if we can ever do all 365. There are so many silly things… And so many that would take a full day. So many that just don’t seem fun. Hmm. Well, I’m changing my goal to “do as many as possible”. =)

The very first page was to “find out the names of all of her dollies/babies/animals/etc”. Since I’ve pretty much got that down already, and since up until a couple months ago she has named every baby “baby”, I had to put a little spin on it.

We pulled out everything that she had, and reminded each other of it’s name, and gave some names to the unnamed. And then we lined them all up, and took a picture.

No we just have to find a scrapbook somewhere so we can start saving these things we do, and we’re going to put the picture in the book with lines going to each baby/animal with their name on it! It’ll be really cute.

to spend quality time with Kayli. We play games, read books, play catch, wrestle, everything- but I continuously feel this little tinge of guilt like maybe I’m messing things up or really missing out on things.

So in my quest to find new things, I came across this silly little book called “How To Be Your Daughter’s Daddy”. It’s very cheezy, and very preachy, but it actually has some pretty cool ideas.

It shouldn’t take long to pound through it… And then we can laugh at it together when she’s older. =)

I have her Wednesday through Sunday this week, so we’ll get it started…
