I found a class on crocheting at the Woman’s Industrial Exchange that I’m determined to make. It’s in a few weeks but, even with that, I still didn’t take chances. I e-mailed the director as soon as I got the e-mail for a spot.
I think that place will come to be sick of seeing the sight of me before too long. I’ll try not to be annoying with all my questions. LOL

Practice Gifts
When learning to knit, I offered free knitted items to people in order to get the extra practice I needed to learn new stitches. I still do this actually and have offered two new [poor poor victims] guys something handmade.
This really helped and I’m going to do this for gaining crochet skills as well.

I was watching the show last night and, as much as I tried, I couldn’t even follow that woman doing the stitches. You crocheters…eeek.
I found solace in my knitting needles and got a project I’ve been working on nearly completed in only two hours. You have your power…and I have mine…muahahahahahahaaaaa

It’s so interesting.
All of the people I come across while knitting are able to crochet. What? Are you people some kind of cult? It’s also very weird because, to a person, they tell me that they know how to crochet but not how to knit because knitting seems ‘too complicated’.
It’s weird. To me crocheting seems to be the more complicated of the two. When I say so, they look at me as though I were crazy.

I’ve been knitting up a storm. My mind is fresh for learning new needletrades and I’m determined.
I’ve even got books and videos from the library. /fingers crossed/
