Become fluent in more than one language

If Programming languages count, then I’m going to make an attempt at becoming fluent in Python. I came across a notice for a free class in it. Tee hee. :)

My good friend in Montreal gave me a copy of the book he wrote…in French. It’s called Le Pas-Ne-De-Porc and the closest translation I could get was “The Foot of the Pig”.(?!)

I’ve got a lot of work ahead of me. I’m going to work to be able to read at a minimum of third grade level French. Baby steps…

Y’know, it’s weird. I seem to be taking to ASL easier than I’ve taken to anything. I’m definitely going to pursue this.

I just spent the better part of an hour in my boiling hot room sitting next to my overheated computer with one goal in mind: the acquisition of Freelangs free language software. To be more specific, the French language software.

My motivation for getting this is twofold. The last time I had it, I not only learned more words in various languages than I otherwise would have but I also programmed it to flash me mathematics problems which allowed me to get back in form in regard to that subject.

It’s going to be a long few days but I’m looking forward to learning more and, hopefully, contributing more to my edublog.
