I live/ grew up on a farm

It’s a lot more work than people think it is. I like it. I like hauling hay (it’s a great workout) I didn’t like it growing up, but I came back to help my dad out so he could go to Europe. It nice to be out of the big city for a while, but there are plusses to both city and small town.. (in my case a SUPER SMALL town!) It’s fun and I think EVERYONE should try it. Some love it, some hate it, but most are just happy with the change. You have to work with the whole community, all the animals, and be willing to get up at all hours of the night and day, depending on the type of farm (ours is a very small cow farm only 50 head or so.)
