so my friends and i decided that people dont take enough time to enjoy life and that (at least in fast paced america) that everyone is always working towards some inane achievement be it more money, faster cars, bigger homes etc. people dont stop and appreciate what they have so we have created (drum roll, please)
the church of celebration!
our worship centers around the celebration of life and all that goes on in it. special time is made to appreciate through some kind of ritual any events or people or things that are felt necessary to appreciate. we value love, gratitude, and (in cases of misfortune) new beginnings. we even have our own holy book.
ok, this all might sound like an excuse to have numerous parties but i think the main motivation behind it all is valid.
plus its really funny that our religious book is called “The Great Book of C.O.C.”
