Or something like that. I injured a tendon in my shoulder, and had to take a break from this one for two months. Lost all the strength I’d built up. Going to start over, from scratch, but with girly push-ups, so I can try to keep from injuring my shoulder again

I want to give a shout out to those who mentioned hundredpushups.com. I’ve started doing the program, and I’m now working towards this goal far more consistently!
Alas, I’m really not doing “good form” push-ups. So I’m going to achieve the goal as I envisioned it, doing my not-quite-down-far-enough push-ups, then start over and get my chest all the way down to the ground.
I’ve been totally slacking on this one. I really need to work on it more often! Last time I did push-ups, I managed to do 10 regular, and 10 modified (on the knees). I wanted to meet this goal by the end of the year!
I did it.
My highest rep of push-ups ever, prior to today was 11. That was when I was in ROTC.
This morning, I did 12.
I am so full of awesome.
So I have started doing push-ups during football games. Whenever my team scores, I do that many push-ups. (GO BROWNS!)
The most push-ups I have been able to do at one shot so far is 10!
But then I got sick, and didn’t do any push-ups for awhile. Yesterday I was able to do a set of 8 in the morning, and another set of 8 in the evening.
I would love to break 11 by the end of the year!
Still holding steady at 5 pushups. I think I need to up my frequency. I didn’t want to do too much at once and end up sore and stop because of that, so I was doing only one set every other day. I either need to try two sets or move to every day. I’m not the slightest bit sore at all, so that’s probably a good sign that I can push myself a bit more!
So I tried some push-ups this weekend. My first set, in the morning, I managed a whopping 3.
In the evening, I tried again, and I managed to get to 5!
I dunno if it’s better to just try real push-ups every other day, even if I only do a few, or if I should try to do girly or wall push-ups too, just for the extra.
