Improve my Chinese

Need to read more sog lyrics and translate the meanings faster as I listen to them

I’m Chinese and speak it fluently with the correct Taiwanese accent (all those variety shows). The only problem is that my reading and writing aren’t fluent in the same way that my English is.

I’ve got a Chinese mouse over dictionary, Kingsoft PowerWord which really helps – even gives you the spelling.

Right now, I’m improving my reading by reading ancient Song and Tang poetry, practicing my Chinese calligraphy of letters and trying to start reading Legend of the Condor Heroes by Jin Yong. Also listening to a lot of Chinese pop and reading the lyrics. Once game I play is to listen to Chinese pop and let the chracters float up in my head.

Writing, I should start by blogging once a week.
