And that is saying quite a lot. For anyone who’s never experience this type of disorder, it’s quite difficult to explain. It’s like a feeling of desperation and things/space not being real – it’s truly terrifying.
Luckily, I’ve been able to get a grip on reality when I get “the wave” of anxiety coming on. What’s really help is talking to people (around me AND on 43things!) about it. Discussing coping mechanisms with other who can relate is amazingly helpful in defeating this.
