do a Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race

yep, the boat i was sailing on pre-baby is doing the S2H this year…but alas, as I have not sailed on it since becoming pregnant, I won’t be on it…it’s hard to commit to regular training and sailing so I haven’t been able to re-join the regular crew on her, which is a shame…but that’s the choice I made…and given how cute our little boy is…well…i can live with that!

Did Melbourne to Hobart ‘Westcoaster’ again at Christmas, was good, but still looking for that trip to Hobart from Sydney, maybe this year?

Did the Melbourne to Vanuate Yacht Race back in July 2006 – that was awesome.

I did sail in the melbourne to hobart race at christmas time on board Helsal II. We won line honours which was pretty exciting. Technically i think that the Melb to Hobart is a better race going down the west coast of Tassie, but i just want to do a Sydney-Hobart just to say i’ve done it!
