I finally got my library card reactivated and have been going again regularly (and putting books on hold instead of going right to Amazon or Ebay to buy’em) so I’m calling this done!

FINALLY!  — 2 years ago

I went by today and paid off my fine and was able to check some books out. I’ve been feeling vaguely guilty about the fine and about buying so many books instead of checking them out so this makes me happy!

I had a fight last year about a book the library swears I lost and I swear I returned and I owe them $25.00 for the book. But how much do I spend on books every month? Lots more than that. I need to give them the $25 so I can get back to using the library. Especially if I’m going to tackle my Modern Library top 100 goal…it’s nuts to buy classic novels that surely are in the library…
