Finally! 21 months ago

After several years of getting excited about the lineup of this or that film festival in Atlanta, I finally went to one. Spent most of the day today at the Jewish Film Festival and saw one full length documentary, 9 shorts, and two features. All well worth it. Loved it, glad I did it, wish I could do it more often.

Now I want to get to Toronto or Sundance…

My goal is to see at least one movie from several of the many film festivals that happen in Atlanta. There’s a Jewish film festival in January, there’s a GLBT festival every year and there’s several others. I always look at the lineups and get excited but rarely go see any movies at the festivals.

Down the road I’d love to go to one of the “biggies” and spend whole days watching new movies. That would be cool.
