Maybe it’s that I’m in a better mood becuase of the lingering excitement for the coming of spring, or maybe because of my new nonchalant yet positive attitude towards the future, or maybe it’s even that I’m just being sedated by all the crazy shit I do mixed with my extreme lack of sleep…but whatever the reason, I seem to be getting happier. I’m managing to balance fun wtih work, and I’m doing well with both my school and my social life.

I no longer get winded when I job up all 8 flights of stairs in my school without pausing or slowing or switching stairwells. I don’t think I’ve ever been able to do that before. : )
I’m not necesarily losing weight or anything, but I have been exercising more and I feel like I’m gaining more abdominal muscle strength. I’ve been trying to eat a bit healthier, as well, but that goes well some days and not so hot other days…you know how that goes.
Anyway, I still have a while to work on this, and I would like to lose a bit of weight as well. I think I’m something like 10 lbs overweight. Even if I could just get rid of that by summer, I’d be happy.
I have been eating better already and have been doing a few simple excercises every day. For instance, instead of having some icecream when I get home or something, I have been eating a smaller portion of some reduced calorie crackers or chips and either a glass of juice or a glass of milk. I’ve been doing about 30 sit-ups and a bit of yoga everyday after school as well, and I’ve been dancing a little, which I know is pretty good excercise on it’s own. So, even though I’ve been doing it for a week without any WEIGHT loss, I am feeling a bit more awake and relaxed.
