So I spent my evening at work tonight applying for jobs. I’m such a bad employee right now. I have job senioritis. But there was really nothing else to do. I’d really like to find something in a med center, so that’s mostly where I’m applying. But I did find a job with an alternative energy group that would be cool. I need to draft a good cover letter for that one.

So with the moving to the opposite coast comes finding a new job. Which is tough from 3,000 miles away. Thank god for the internet.
I’ve been submitting resumes through a vareity of sites for a variety of jobs. I’d really like to get out retail customer service, as I’m getting burned out on having to be nice to everyone constantly. I’d really like to get an office job (reception, etc.) with either a non-profit or medical/bio-science place. I figure if I can get experience in science-y places, I’ll be able to find work wherever Chris might need to go, as she’ll be going science-y places. I’d really like to work for a non-profit, as I really am a Girl Scout and feel a need to “make the world a better place.”
But right now, I’ll take just about anything that pays around what I’m making now so we can cover bills, etc.
