become a Master Knitter

i finished two scarves this weekend. my stiches are getting fabulously even. i love knitting scarves. i can make them as simple or as complicated as i want. this weekend, i made a simple 2×2 ribbed scarf in custom wool, and then a spiraled scarf in fuzzy novelty yarn. :)

I spoke to my husband last night about me seriously quitting my job and knitting for a living. ah, serenity. he’d be okay with it, if we could afford it. unfortunately, seeing as how I currently knit for pleasure, it costs me more to knit than I make. now to figure out how to make money.

I’ve finished two scarves and a lace capelet in four days. I’ve finally found my rhythm.

I’m very excited.

so i ordered yarn online and now i’m knitting obsessively again. back and forth and around and here and there and everywhere. i think i’m ready to order the master knitter packet.

I’ve been looking into this fairly seriously. I really like how theres no time limit. So if I decide to start, then I can pace myself and work at my own speed. It makes me happy.

Now to perfect cableing and colour changes.
