so far, so good 10 months ago

some of the ‘how i did it’ stories,
and one said that your goals have to be SMART. i believe this is true so i shall make mine more specific.

DONE:
ONE
Clean bedroom, throw out anything that is not wanted.
Find a place for everything as much as possible.
Put anything that needs to be sold into boxes, and put them in the shed.
Take sheets off bed, wash, dry & put back onto bed.
Make bed.
Completed by: 5pm Today (1st Feb)

Next on the agenda:
TWO
Organise timetable, making enough time for uni/gym/cleaning/both jobs/socialising/tafe. BE REALISTIC!
Good idea to set aside 2 hrs x 2 per week, just for cleaning, doing washing and organising.
Completed by: 12th February.
THREE
Purchase some more storage boxes and put anything that did not have a specific place (ie things that are still in cardboard boxes) into them. Sort through the things so that each storage box contains one kind of item; eg. one for handbags, one for belts, one for books.
Completed by: 20th February.
FOUR
Come up with a better system for keeping my shoes. Eg storage boxes? Shoe rack? Hanging shoe holder for wardrobe?
Completed by: 1st March.
Think that’s about enough for now :)

it's 10 months ago

10:00 on a sunday and I have already spent 2 hrs sorting through the things in my bedroom.
I have thrown a LOT of things out :)

feel as though 12 months ago

i am organised in the sense of planning ahead, which is nice progress.
but not as in my bedroom is clean.
so must keep working on that.

am currently 13 months ago

sorting out christmas presents for my family.
over a month early.
yays.

i bought 13 months ago

a diary today for 2009.
and its only the 5th of november.
i think thats a positive step towards organisation :)

oh no 13 months ago

i thought i was organised,
until i had to spend about an hour looking for one little piece of paper.
my filing system definitely needs revising.
ah well, im glad i found it and it has shown me what i need to do :)
