Be on The Amazing Race

Whoohoo! My friend, who is a professional video editor, said she’d be more than happy to edit our audition tape once my buddy gets his American citizenship! Won’t be long now!

Darn it. My partner is NOT an American citizen. He still has his Peruvian citizenship. He’s working on it and should be a citizen by the end of 2006. He and I put together as a team would be hilarious since we are the “Will and Grace” team. We are disgustingly charming together. We’ve also traveled together for years now and we’ve never fought. I wanna see how we are on tape though.

Total, he and I have been to 25 countries combined. I’m bilingual plus I speak so-so Spanish. He knows four languages. Total, we know seven languages. I wonder if that would disqualify us?

We’re also experts on seat-of-your-pants traveling. Both he and I have done insane things in our travels. But there’s one thing I can’t do: I don’t know how to swim. I guess that’s important. I wonder if they’re going to be biased against people like us…
