Before I broke my foot last week, I was running about 40 miles a week training for the Honolulu Marathon in December. I would run the distance of a half-marathon, 13.1 miles, each Saturday or Sunday. By the time the cast comes off I’ll only have six weeks or so to get used to walking, then jogging, then running again. As long as I don’t re-injure the fracture, I will do this.
