in the last week, all sunny and frosty days, really beautiful. Made the most of not being at work.

could have spent longer outside by did manage a walk down to my favourite meadow and an hour outside on the garden bench – which is pretty good for late Oct.
definitely counts, especially when it’s this cold! A beautiful sunny day though, and a surprise after all that rain. It’s got to be one of the most beautiful parts of the country – evidently the several hundred people who joined us on the path up Cat Bells agree.
Starting to think I might mark this as done till spring comes around – will just fit in a couple of leaf-peeping trips… and maybe an early morning photo trip, haha, very likely.
along the Thames Path yesterday evening. I had it to myself, it was peaceful and pretty and only a bit flooded:) I also got to see some birds other than pigeons and crows, so achieving two goals in one!
It’s been difficult to find the time to do this, this week. On Wednesday my work schedule at two different sites allowed me to walk between them and the station, and it was sunny. But that was a rare day.
Need to look at my diary and the weather forecast for the next week and work out how to find some time for at least a walk.
Spent an hour on the garden bench this afternoon (instead of cleaning the bathroom, hee hee). Hope we get another nice day tomorrow.
Went for a walk between finishing work and catching the train; that’s 30 mins outside, even if not the most inspiring walk ever.
I think if I’m going to do this properly I need to get myself a form of transport and then I can get to nice parks etc and am not restricted to Maidenhead town centre and down to the river and back.
Easy on a day off, my only excuses being: weather; laziness; tv and internet addiction. Done my half hour today on the garden bench, seeing as I’m still recuperating, and hope to attempt a walk later.
Not sure how I’m going to manage this when I’m back at work. Walking to the station doesn’t count, I need time the whole point of which is being outside and enjoying it, not getting to work on time. It’s going to require some imagination.
I’ve moved to a lovely part of the country with lots of walks on my doorstep, and have a garden too, and yet spend far too much time slouching in front of the TV. I know from experience that I feel better for getting outside so would like to make sure I spend at least half an hour each day, rain or shine, outside, feeling the sun / rain / wind / whatever on my face!
