write children's books

As adults we can sometimes be terrible communicators to children. Being a visual and auditory learner myself I can appreciate how many children learn and where they learn. I came from a split family 2 times. I didn’t meet my biological father until I was 17. My younger brother’s father and our mother split when I was 3, it was very hard to understand why I didn’t have a dad. I taught pre-school for 4 years and helped a number of students who came from families split by divorce. It was really hard on them, and difficult for me to watch them be in that sort of emotional pain at such a young age. So I have a few ideas for happy “themed” books, but the book I will work on this year is going to approach divorce from a positive angle (which is difficult) to help the kids know that it is not their fault, it does not make them wierd, and that their parents still love them and life will go on and be wonderfull.
